22nd November of the Year 2008

This date of the Year 2008 is of the utmost importance to my mom n dad and to us as well. They would be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this year. 30 years of absolute bliss n passion that they cherished with each other. They have the love, bond - understanding and share the amazing chemistry which is everyone’s envy.

"हम बने, तुम बने, एक दूजे के लिए", song that describes them the best...

Life for them was never a cakewalk. And they have been tested most toughly at every point n times, believe me. No matter how tough and opposite circumstances be, they faced them with the uncommon zeal and exuberance.

Isn’t that awesome?

Be it becoming nuclear right after the marriage or financial crisis or losing their baby or the repeated health extremes for both of them. They confronted all the challenges strongly and came out as sheer winners. Their only and cohesive source of energy had been their love, bond, trust or whatever you name it.

I sometimes wonder they were mere strangers when they got married and by now have developed such strong, pious and sacred bond where there is no place for misunderstandings or misapprehensions. They sacrificed their lives, temptations and put themselves on the backseat to give us a home, family and kind of fostering that made us to be what we are today. Nurtured everything about it and hence became inseparable.

This is the beauty of their relationship!!

It’s not that they only love their family n kids. But their warmth and affectionateness spills over onto the surroundings. It does not need words or expressions. Most appreciated loved and respected couple in the family and friends because of this lineament of themselves.

I pray to god that they remain like this forever and keep spreading love in the same fashion. May god bless them and make them stay in never ending love and bliss… … …

Long Live Romance!!!!!!!!!!!

Well written, Shivani. Good use of words, and concise text.

However, I was looking for more info on how your parents have sustained the love, the trials and tribulations of their marriage.

So, maybe next time, you type a blog, see what all learnings you can imbibe in the readers :-).

Respected Didi & Jijaji "Wish you A Very Happy 30th Anniversary"
22nd November is the day, when you are crossing another milestone of love and understanding, a long lasting relationship. We pray the best for your health, all happiness and prosperity to that almighty – The God. Since, we have started our married life, we would also like to follow your foot print and remain in love forever just like you.

Although, I have been part of the family just a year and a half, but the kind of care and love extended and experienced by me is not just commendable but memorable as well.

I remember and cherish each and every event of our marriage and related events, where you have been so active and had blessed us with your "Ashirwad"

I still remember, the first visit after marriage "Phera Rasam", when we all got together and cherished every moment of it.
I remember "Holi" we celebrated at Rohini, where we all played with the colors, had delicious food and made the festival a colorful one… I remember the Gujia's made by you Didi .

Didi-We love you not only for the care you extend to everyone, but also for the delicious food you prepare (I love "Raj Mah"), which I like the best.
Jijaji-We love you not only as you are someone who is elder, but also for the kind of respect you extend to each and every one, even youngers like us.

You have got a very sweet girl "Shivani", whose ideas go beyond the sky… and an upcoming Champion - Anuj who is growing, focusing on his studies and understanding the path of career.
Both of them love you lots….. and I wish them all the Best!!

Let's Pray to Almighty that "Aap Jio Hazaron Saal in love forever” and saying Renu Ji Renu Ji & Suno Ji Suno Ji to each other !! 

- Rohit & Sonal
