Though the day is yet to be decided a different excitement can already be felt in the air. All of a sudden everybody has become charged up and excited about the final event.
Actually this is the most awaited and sought after wedding of our family as Sonal would be (of her generation) the last daughter of Thakur family who will get married. After her it would be the next generation who will take up the role that my grandpa used to play, i.e. giving away the kanyaa daan...
This is a very emotional moment for my family especially... if i sit back and think about past three four years... staying with sonal, after nana, was a total different experience for all of us... both emotionally n psychologically... we have had all kinds of moments like any other family... lighter, heavier, good, bad, laughter, tears... what not and all this has made a bond between us which is more pious than that of the blood...
Sonal is no less than a sister to me with whom i have shared all kinds of experiences... we fought over the dress that we should wear or should not wear (our choices being different ;-)) we used to choose opposite things... no matter how trivial or how big it was. Laughed at total useless things sometimes, when noone else use to enjoy the joke as much as we did :-))
She is one common factor that tied all of us together in someway or the other...
Every single person, be it a kid, mom, dad, or any1, all are planning for the day... who will wear what, decorations, cuisines, guests list, gifts et al :-)
Today... we have finally found our much awaited n missing peice of the picture who will complete this portrait, i.e. Rohit...
I pray to god n wish that they both remain like this forever... thru all the thicks n thins... may god bless both of them with all the best things in life...
